After providing her forty-eight hours to review her options (I of course delivered her a thank you card for contemplating my services), I followed up with a call to see if she had any exceptional questions. To my surprise she explained that she’d chose to record her property with a friend, who’s also her hairdresser, and carries real estate part-time in a suburb of Boston. My preliminary shock came from the fact that she decided to number her property with an out-of-town broker, some one who’d almost no knowledge of the Boston real-estate market.

But what actually blew me out was her decision to list her home with a buddy, who not only had very little whole real-estate knowledge, but who works part-time in real-estate and had never bought a house before! Her specific phrases were: “She’s a very nice individual and I want to help her jumpstart her real estate career.” Now she had currently created her choice and the last thing I was going to do was to disqualify her buddy as a reliable realtor, so I thought her the most effective of chance and told her that I’d decide to try my better to work with her pal to offer the unit.
